Hi!
According to the product folder, the LMH1218 device can handle 4k.
I have not been able to find anything related to HDMI 2.0 for this part.
Could this part be used in the HDMI 2.0 signal chain?
Thanks,
James

Hi James,
4k is a generic term that refers to video resolution and does not imply specific protocols. In other words, there are many protocols that support 4k resolutions.
The LMH1218 is a device that supports 4k video over the SMPTE SDI (Serial Digital Interface) 12G interface (11.88 Gbps link). This device also supports video over IP through the SMPTE 2022 specification, which is a 10.3125 Gbps link.
This device does not work directly with the HDMI interface.
