TUSB7320 phy error counter

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TUSB7320

Hello,

We are using the TUSB7320 to transmit images from a device to the host. We are facing some strange effects that on some system we are loosing images and on others not. We are currently trying to analyse this behaviour in more detail and would like to see if there are any errors on the physical layer. The xHCI Registers provides the LINK_ERROR_COUNT which is part of Port Link Info Register. That's a nice feature but  according to my understanding it "only" counts USB3 state transitions form recovery state to u0 state, which is a very sever and fortunately rare situation. CRC32 errors resulting in packet retries are not counted. On the device side we have a phy error counter that counts more detailed info.

Is there a possibility to retrieve more detailed error counters from the TUSB7320 (a phy error counter, or a retry counter).

Thanks and best regards,
Christian
