Can SN65LVDS324 I2C interface work without input clock (SCLK)?

Hi,

I am using SN65LVDS324 chip to interface with Aptina sensor. But I don't have the sensor right now and trying to bring up SN65LVDS324 without any input clock (SCLK).

I am trying to access the chip with address 0x5A (for write), but not getting any acknowledgement.

Is input clock is necessary for I2C interface?

Or is there any other issue?

Hi Diego,

Thanks for the reply. I have found the issue.

The issue was within schematics itself.

Reset was always de-asserted and due to this SN65LVDS324 was not responding.
