does the pin5(Pin name :W) of device TPL0401A/B/C support value by default?

    Hello Peter,

    The default position of the wiper is mid scale. This corresponds to code 100 0000 (0x40).

    In the A and B versions, this would result in 5k ohms being seen for Rhw or Rwl.

    In the C version, the "L" side of the potentiometer is floating, so you'll only see a 25k ohm resistance between Rhw upon startup.
