DS90UB913A/914A data line has 10k pull down resistor

hi Team,

 

customer Seeways tech is query about the purpose of adding the 10k Ohm pull down resistor on the 913/914 Data line? and what would be the affect if remove these pull donw resistor on each data line?

 

please advise. thanks.

    I am not aware of our recommendation to add 10k Ohm pull down resistors on the 913 or 914 data lines.   We did place such resistors on our evaluation boards since on the evaluation board it is possible that the pins will be left open and the 10K resistors help to keep the pins quiet when not being driven by any signal.
