Hi Team,

Please allow me to ask you the spec for VOH(MAX) at 1mA load for SN75157.

Is there any test data or simulation data for this ?

Customer is considering to use this device. They need the VOH(MAX) information to see if they can interface to their device.

Best Regards,

  • Takushi-san,

Typical is 3.5V which is more accurately stated as VCC - 1.5V.
There is an expected +4mV/C temperature coefficient.

    Therefore typical VOH = VCC -1.5V + 4mV*(Tj -25C).
Because this is based primarily on diode voltages, they won't change much.
    A cautious VOH maximum is VOH[max] = VCC - 1.5V + 4mV*(Tj -25C) + 60mV

What is the VCC maximum and maximum output acceptable?

  • Hello Ron-san,

Thanks for your support and the calculation formula. I have answered this information to customer as a reference.
Their Receiver device is a 3.3V device, so they are considering to divide the output voltage using resistor divider, R1/R2. (R1+R2=1.2k Ohm)

By the way, I could not find Tj(MAX) in the datasheet. What is the Tj(MAX) specification ? Is it 150 degC ?

    Best Regards,
    Kawai
