DS90UB914A's parallel output for 2 backend device

Dear Sirs,

My customer is using DS90UB913A/914A for their HD camera signal transmissiion. They need 2 YUV422 output for their backend video processor. Can DS90UB914A's parallel output drive 2 backend device? Or they have to add additiona fan out buffer to implenment it?

It would be safest to add a fanout buffer. The parallel data is still quite high speed (~100MHz), and proper transmission line design principles should be followed when laying out the design - a fanout would create stubs which would harm signal integrity.

You might try asking about recommendations for this sort of part in other forums, but a device that I have used in the past is the SN74C2G07 dual buffer, tie the two inputs together, and then you can use the two outputs. It is physically very small, and has a wide power supply operating range.
