Does anybody know of an "of the shelf" PCI/cPCI interface IC that would have a DIGITAL I/O lines at the "other" side.

Hopefully it will have drivers available for Windows and perhaps other OS.

Thank you Elias. That IC has 4 GPIO lines. We are looking for at least 4xIN and 4 xOUT lines/bits . This party may be a solution , it would need some Serial-to Parralel logic IC. We are considering a Bi-directional Parralel Port IC that would have 8 I/O lines plus some control lines but were hoping for something less elaborate, perhaps FPGA with PCI interface cells/code already available.
