Hi,

I'm working on design with the DP83620 PHY in 100baseFX Fiber mode connected to an SFP transceiver.

We are able to successfully transmits Ping messages, but unable to receiving any data.But the design is successfully working with Avago AFBR-5803Z part used in evaluation board .Can you please suggest us any changes need to done for using SFP transceiver.

Hi Gangadhar,

Could you please provide what the model number is for the SFP? Some transceivers have internal AC coupling while others do not. This can effect the bias point if not properly implemented. Would you mind sending your schematic as well?

The issue is solved .You are Right Transceiver which we selected is having internal AC coupling.
