Hi all

Would you mind if we ask DP83867IR?
Does this EtherPhy have Fast link detection mode for EtherCat?

Because, our customer would like to use EtherCat and 1G-Ethernet using one EtherPHY.
Is it possible?

    Hello Hirotaka-san,

    DP83867IR can support Fast Link Drop and Fast Link Detect. These modes can be configured via register access.  Fast Link Loss can be configured via FLD_CFG (0x002C) and FLD_THR_CFG (0x002D) registers. The link loss detection time is significantly reduced, in most cases less than 10us. There are separate sections dedicated to Fast Link Drop and Fast Link Detect in the datasheet. For best performance, it is recommended to implement these modes using DP83867 on both ends of the link.
