TTL to LVDS converter.

My display communication type is LVDS and i need to interface with AM437x. is there any HDK (converter) for LVDS to TTL converter.

    Hi Manjunathan,

    TI has a large portfolio to select from when it comes to TTL-to-LVDS converters. I am not sure whether you are looking for an LVDS transmitter/receiver/transceiver type of PHY, or whether you want a SerDes device that can translate from TTL to LVDS and back. In either case, please check out the TI.com catalog under "Product => Interface" on the home page.

    Once there, you will be able to click either "LVDS PHY (<800 Mbps)" for transceivers and "Flatlink/FPD-Link (LVDS for LCD)" or "Channel Link I" for SerDes devices. My guess, since you are interfacing with an ARM processor is that you will need maybe 24-bit RGB display, so perhaps a good place to start is the DS90C385/DS90CF386. Note that most of our parts operate with a supply voltage of 3.3V for LVTTL instead of TTL.
