data formatting from imager to SN65LVDS324

I am working on an image sensor with 16-bits per pixel and currently my output interface has two ports with two channels per port. I want to use this specific chip for connecting my image sensor chip to another module.

The interfaces described in the datasheet look like MIPI CSI, but I am not sure. I was looking for a better explanation of how the data should be arranged or formatted from my chip so that it could be properly interpreted by the SN65LVDS324.

Is there a better explanation on the interface side from imager to SN65LVDS324?

  • Hello Justin,

The SN65LVDS324 is an image sensor receiver. It is specifically designed to work with sensors from SONY, Panasonic and Aptina (or compatible ones), and the supported interfaces are SONY LVDS Parallel, Panasonic LVDS and Aptina HiSPi. Is your sensor compatible with any of them?

    Best regards,
    Diego.
