Thank you . But you told :The mapping you have shown places the 2 LSBs of RGB data on LVDS pair A3. Check to make sure this is also acceptable by your panel requirements.
Why is not 2 MSBs ?
Thank you .

Are you sure about 2LSBs on A3 ? Is not 2 MSBs with my configuration?
My configuration is like this, right ?
Here is DS90C387A mapping :
Here is my screen mapping :
As you can see on ma last configuration between TFP403 and DS90C387A, my configuration is right for my screen ( 2MSBs on A3) on 1 channel?
Could you please answer my question I need it very quickly.
Best regards.
Hi Ouael,
My mistake. When I was looking at the mapping, I was looking at the typical mapping for VGA - TFT data signals, which is what the DS90C387A is commonly used for. In that case, LSBs are placed on Channel A3 to facilitate changes between 24 bpp and 18 bpp resolution. Thank you for checking back with me.
The way that the TFP403 transmits the LVCMOS outputs to the DS90C387A for that app note I showed (SLLA325A) shows that the 2 MSBs come out on Channel A for the panel, and this matches what you showed with your panel. So, I believe your configuration is correct.
Thanks,
Michael
