TPD4S009 RS422-Communication failure

Hi,

When you connect the TPD4S009 on RS422 signal lines, it will not be able to communicate,

It enables communication to be unconnected(TPD4S009).

Questions

1) Cause you can not communicate, what you thought?

2) Do you TPD4S009DBVR can be used for differential signal protection of RS422?   

    The RS422 I am using AM26LS31CNSR and AM26LS32ACNS.

    I would like to thank support

    Data rate: 115.2kbps

     Cable length: about 0.6m

    It is connected by a twisted pair cable.

    Communication error will increase higher temperature.

    When you delete a TPD4S009 from the line, it does not occur a problem in communication.

    Please give for solving tips.

  • Hmmm ... the attenuation of the TPD4S009 at that data rate is basically 0 dB, and it remains that way up until almost 2 Gbps, see the Bode plot below for the insertion loss. So, I am confused by this. Perhaps the signal range falls outside of the range of -0.3V and the voltage you have applied to the VCC pin of TPd4S009. What voltage is applied to VCC Pin, and what is the signal min and max range in use in this application?

    Vcc pin is OPEN.  

    Voltage level of the differential signal is I am sure.  (Later we will report)

    AM26LS32ACNS(1A/1B) ← 10Ω(serial) ← TPD4S009(D1+/D1-) ← 100Ω(Parallel(1A-100Ω-1B) ← DLW21SN900SQ2(murata EMI-Filter) → connecter(DF11G-8DO-2V(50))

    AM26LS32ACNS(2A/2B) ← 10Ω(serial) ← TPD4S009(D2+/D2-) ← 100Ω(Parallel(2A-100Ω-2B) ← DLW21SN900SQ2(murata EMI-Filter) → connecter(DF11G-8DO-2V(50))

    (Circuit diagram provides is possible)

    AM26LS31 / AM26LS32 both use the number is one.

    Since TPD4S009 are using a differential, one in AM26LS31 side, one also DL21SN900.

    Since TPD4S009 are using a differential, one in AM26LS32 side, one also DL21SN900.

    Will there problems using TPD4S009 to AM26LS?

    There needs to be some VCC on the VCC Pin that exceeds your signal's upper voltage range. VIO can't exceed VCC per the data sheet:
