Hi Team,

The datasheet of SN65LVPE502A shows "TYPICAL EYE DIAGRAM AND PERFORMANCE CURVES" at page.12-22.

Is there the same data for TUSB501?
My customer would like to see it as a reference to set EQ and DE appropriately for his application.

Unfortunately we just have the diagrams that are in TUSB501 datasheet.
If you have the channel loss perhaps we can calculate optimal values for EQ and DE.

I would like to ask additional questions.

1)
Could you tell me optimal values for EQ and DE if I inform the channel information (trace length & material for the input and output channel) of my customer's application?

2)
It seems my customer can't catch how to set EQ and DE.
Is there any guideline to set these value?

Hi Yaita-san，

1） If you tell me trace length and material I can try to calculate channel loss, then select an optimum EQ and DE value.

2) Please provide an email address to send you a document with optimal EQ and DE values for defined trace lengths.
