Hi Team,

Is there any regiser of TLK110 that is effective for external noise?
My customer saw link expired in consequence of external noise on LAN cable.

He considers to use Fast Link down mode.

    Could you provide more detail on the external noise? Are you referring to a specific EMC immunity test?

    Fast link down allows the PHY to drop the link quickly if there are errors or a lack of signaling. Does the customer have fast link down enabled in their application?

    Yes, I heard it is a specific EMC immunity test.
    My customer applied coupling noise of 500V(16ms period and 1usec width) to LAN cable, then LINK expired.

    He doesn't have fast link down enabled yet, but considers to use the mode as workaround of the the immunity test aftertime.
    If fast link down mode isn't also effective for the test, he aims to set the register that is effective for external noise.
