Hi Moises,

I have read the EVM user guide for times, but I cannot find anything related with the software. I'm trying to connect from the pc to the EVM board with a DP cable and then from the EVM board to the monitor, but I don't see nothing on the screen. I don't now if I have to install something or configure the EVM board in order to start seen something.

Hi Ivan,

You don't need extra software, it should work just connecting PC to board to monitor and placing power supply.

What configuration do you have in jumpers?

Have you tried both cables connected directly from PC to monitor?

Thanks for your answer, the problem is solve. But I have another question. We want to analyze and take information of the signal we send/receive by this board. Is it posible to do it? And if it is posible, how can we do it,? program?.

Hello,

The SN75DP130 does not decodes the transmitted information, so it is not possible to analize the data by means of our re-driver. I am wondering if you want to evaluate the signal integrity.

Maybe I didn't explain well, but as you have said Diego, we want to evaluate the signal integrity. As I have said, our objective is to try to know more about the signal transmitted from PC to monitor through the SN75DP130 EVM board. So any information we could get about the signal will be very usefull for us.

Hello Ivan,

The best thing you can do is to connect an oscilloscope to the points where you want to get the signal integrity and obtain the eye diagram. There is no software that you can use with the SN75DP130 in order to evaluate the signal integrity.
