Dear Technical Support Team,

I have question about TLK10232.

If HSRXAP/N(High Speed Inputs) doesn't have anything inputs, how is the output behavior of OUTAxP/N(Low Speed Outputs)?

I think that LOS(Loss of signal) causes during this situation.

Datasheet page6 describes following. OUTAxP/N are driven differential zero during LOS?

During device reset (RESET_N B5/B6 CML VDDA_LS asserted low) these pins are driven differential zero

Hi Y.I,

LOS indicator depends of the input signal swing, for example, in transceiver mode from HSRXAP/N to OUTAP/N, and the HS side is receiving a differential input signal swing below of 75mVpp, the indicator LOS will be asserted high. Otherwise, if the swing is greater of 150mVpp LOS indicator will be dessaerted.

Hi y.i,

OUTAxP/N are driven differential zero only during device reset. When the device reports Loss of signal (based in the input signal of HSRX) the device is going to report errors in the LS outputs, please let me confirm the behavior of these pins, ASAP I get the answer I´ll be back.

Hi y.i,

During LOS (Loss of signal), OUTAxP/N are not driven differential zero. The reason is because if the device is not receving the input signal correctly in the HS side, it is going to report errors in the outputs.
