Is any requirement for minimum or recommendation

for optimal trace length for SFI interface.

TLK10232 to SFP+ for example.

According to the SFF-8431 standard the SFI Typical PCB Reach:

The SFI channel may be implemented with either microstrip or stripline strfictures. Exmaple host boards designs with typical PCB reaches are shown in the next table:
