DS90UB913 Send I2S data

Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible to send I2S data down the line of a 913/914 pair digitally.

I am using the 10 bit mode of the 913/914 and am only using 8 bits. Would it be possible to send I2S data with the extra 2 bits and utilize the whole 10 bits?
