TPS65982 / to disable power delivery(PD) function

Hi Team,

My customer considers to use TPS65982 for note PC application.
He wants to disable power delivery(PD) function when note PC acts as a provider(source) and the main battery power of it is lower .

Is it possible to disable PD function without disconnecting USB communication?
Could I achieve it to control RPD_Gn pin?

    The system controller will be able to reconfigure the TPS65982 to reduce its power capabilities over the I2C interface. This means that the system could be set to only deliver 5V @ 900mA to support USB3.

    RPD_Gn are used for dead battery operation to present an Rd to the connected DFP.
