SI Analysis of TUSB1210 EVM .brd file

Hi,

I was trying to do an SI Analysis on the EVM of TUSB1210 EVM .brd file.

Can some one guide me as to which of the buffer model should I use from the IBIS model for the source side and how should I model the USB connector for doing the SI Analysis. I have plugged the ibis model for TPD4S012 but I am not sure as to whether I should use :- TUSB1210_dp/n_hs or the 50ohm_pd model.

How should I model the connector is another doubt that I have? Since TI has made the gerber, I am sure they must have done SI, kindly guide us in that.

Hello ARM,

You could need to check the whole literature regarding IBIS modeling. For example, take a look at the following Application Report.

Hi Gerardo,

Thanks for the reply. For example:- TUSB1210 ibis model is made for pin 1 -32 whereas the gerber of the EVM has the socket named from 34 to 65.

Now IBIS model does not set up correctly for SI Analysis. How can I get i modified version of IBIS as these files are non-editable.

Kindly help in this...
