Hello Team,
Could you tell me the reason why creepage distance of ISO7220M is shorter than clearance?
I Ithink creepage > clearance because the shortest path of creepage is found around the end of the package body.

You are correct. Creepage should be equal or greater than Clearance.
I'll fix the datasheet error.
Hello Saleem,
Thank you for your reply.
What's the rating of creepage for ISO7220M after fix the datasheet error?
Is it 4.8mm just like clearance distance?
I found same datasheet error at the below devices.
Are these also the datasheet error?

Hello
I'd like to ask you additional question.
I understood about Clearance and Creepage distance after the board mounting as the following but is this correct?
Is it possible that creepage distance of ISO7220M is shorter than clearance if my understanding is correct?

Hidetoshi Matsunami
Matsunami-san,
In your example, Clearance distance will be equal to the lower Creepage distance because there is air just above the surface of the PCB.
Clearance is either equal or less than Creepage; always.
Hello Saleem,
I understood it.
I appreciate your support.
