Hello,

These two devices are not compatible, the DP130 is a displayport re-driver whereas the TFP403 is a DVI/HDMI receiver.
Can you provide more information about your application in order to give you a better recommendation.

Hi,

Our requirement is to use a DisplayPort receiver with 8-bits of R, 8-bits of G and 8-bits of B pixel outputs.

Since there are no chips from TI supporting for the complete Displayport receiver with 8,8,8 bits of pixels, we have planned to use
SN75DP130SS which produces TMDS outputs. These TMDS outputs will be connected to TFP403 which produces 8,8,8 bits of pixel outputs which can be connected to a MCU/FPGA.
Please let me know alternate solutions if any.

Hello,

I highly suggest you to use the SN75DP139 instead of the SNDP130, this device includes a level shifter to TMDS and can be directly connected to the TFP403. meanwhile the SN75DP130 needs an external TMDS level translator when used with the TFP403.
