Hello,

I'm promoting ISO5851 to the customer. Currently, they use optocapler type isolated gate driver.
Then I got the question about advantage of capacitive isolation against opto/magnestics type.

Could you please share the any documents which you can share with us?

In my understanding, the capacitive type advantage is the following.

-Signal rate
-Eliminate aging degradation
-No EMI (magnetics type has EMI)

Thank you for the reply.
Are these advantage capasitive isolation only?
Are these specifications of capacitive topology better than other topology(magnestics, optocapler) ?
If yes, could you please let me know the reason?
