Dear, Sir.

My customer is considering to apply DS90UH925Q/926Q-Q1 for their system.

They know Intel, etc have the license on HDCP, so asking what kind of procedure

& How much fee will be needed to start the designing in advance.

I am so sorry to ask this kind of fundermental matter at this time.

1. Need to register and become HDCP adopter through DCP. Is it correct?

2. I wonder no fee to become HDCP adopter?

3. When Annual fee must be paid?

4. Device Key fee is defined based on thenumber of Device Key Sets.

I wonder it will be the number of manufacturing system by the customer?

5. Please give your advice if there was the way to reduce such fee.

If customer is interested in becoming an adaptor, then they would need to go through DCP at :

http://www.digital-cp.com/licensing

In terms of FPD-Link III, the interface is already listed as a HDCP compliant interface -- http://www.digital-cp.com/hdcp_specifications . The ‘UH’ parts contain reprogrammed HDCP keys and is inclusive in cost of device.

I wonder the customer don't need to become an adopter if he is not

interested in?

session. I am confusing a little.
