TLK10232 Transceiver Power Down (channel-B)

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLK10232

Hello

We will ask about TLK10232.

When used in PDTRXB_N = 1, at MDIO control, only Channel-B Is it possible to power down?
If possible, please tell me the configuration register and values.
It should be noted that, usually we use only Channel-A.

  • Hello,

    Channel A and B are totally independent and their application rates and references clocks are separated. So, if you want to power down only Channel-B you must set PDTRXB_N LOW (asserted), hence, Channel B will be settled down in power down mode.

  • Hello.

    Thank you answer.

    In PDTRXB_N = "0", the channel B power-down state, you understand.

    This question is, external Pin control (hardware configuration) below-mentioned conditions is a question of when using.

    PDTRXA_N = "1" (PullUp) FPGA control l
    PDTRXB_N = "1" (PullUp) fixed

    In the state of PDTRXB_N = "1", only the channel B is not used, can I in the power-down state?
    Other than the external pin control, please tell me how to implement the power-down.
    (Channel A, want to always maintain the normal state)

    Thank you for your wishes.
