We know the TUSB2046B can interface external EEPROM using pin configuration.

We has been refered datasheet of the VID high-byte and VID low-byte and PID high-byte and PID-low byte configuration on external EEPROM.

But, Now we write EEPROM of VID 0xFFFFh, windows device manager appear that information 0x3FFFh.

What is this problem? How can we read Windows Device Manager device attribute on 0xFFFFh?

We are trying to reproduce the issue with our EVM. Meanwhile, could you program another IDs in order to find any pattern?

Hello,

Are you trying to enable the GANGED mode trough the EEPROM? If so, you should set the bit 14 of the address 0, it means that you should write 0x4000 instead of 0x2000.

Download the usbview (0272.usbview.zip) utility to get more information about the device. Select the item (Hub) in the left window will allow its descriptors to be read in the right window. Could you attach some screen captures?
