Hi All,

Do TI have Andriod 4.4V drivers for DP83848?

Hi Syed,

We do not have Android drivers to date for the DP83848.

There is a plan for a Linux driver for the DP83848, but direct use with Android can't be guaranteed. Some porting may be required for the driver to properly build on Android.

Syed,

The Linux drivers are scheduled to be completed and tested by the 2nd week of November. The drivers will be sent upstream and made downloadable on the DP83848 product pages.

Hi Eloy,

The DP83848 driver has been completed and pushed upstream and is scheduled to be included in mainline Linux 4.4.
