Hi Team,

The reference schematic shows "D1x must be shorted to D2x" as the following but my customer concern if it could be a redriver function.
May I have your comment?

In addition, is the above reference schematic the same as TUSB211EVM?

Hello Yaita-san,

This continuity is in order to have a risk free system design of a complete USB channel, so the TUSB211 does not break the continuity of the DP/DM signal path. And also the EVM has the same configuration.

Just want to know if can ask customer disconnect D1x and D2x in PCB trace. The target is to make TUSB211 as must use not optional in some projects,

Hello Han,

The input and output lines have to be connected, as the datasheet establishes, the D1P and D2P terminals must be shorten, as well as the D1N and D2N.
