Hi,

I'd like to know about a TIDA-00207.
www.ti.com/.../tida-00207

Is the TIDA-00207 board being passed the 10/100 Ethernet Compliance Test?

My customer has failed "Transmitter Return Loss" of 10base compliance test on their custom board using DP83848K.

If TIDA-00207 is being passed that, I will I recommend to them that they refer to this design and BOM.

Hello Taka-san,

Please excuse me for the delay.

The TIDA-207 design was not tested for 10/100 Ethernet compliance and we do not have one of the boards on-hand in order to do the testing. The focus of TIDA-207 was EMI performance and that was the quality tested.

The DP83848 has been thoroughly tested for 10/100 compliance. PCB layout can play a large factor to certain requirements, therefore it is difficult to draw conclusions on the TIDA-207 design's compliance. TIDA-207 follows our layout guidelines and would be expected to pass all IEEE compliance specs.

Okay, I will recommend the TIDA-207 design to my customer.

Please let me know, if TI' EVM(TIDA-207 or Others) will be tested for 10/100 Ethernet compliance.
