Hello

We are using the SN65HVD33, and are seeing ~1V of overshoot when we drive the RS485 bus. I’m having problems modeling the circuit to understand what I can do to tune it. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Jamaal,

Can you please give us a little more details on how you are using the device? I.e., what is connected to the RS-485 bus pins (A and B) - is there a cable, other nodes communicating, etc.? Are there termination resistances (and if so, what value)? Do you have any waveform captures that show the overshoots?
