About TPS65982 EVM Board setting

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65982, TPS65982-EVM

Dear Sirs

We test bus power function (Internal Switch) and use TPS65982 EVM Board.
1.Test environment:
NB(USB 3.1 TYPE C )=>TPS65982 EVM Board
2.We use configuration tool to create bin file.
3.NB(USB 3.1 TYPE C ) provides bus power(VBUS),but it don’t create 12V(High Voltage). Can you help to check bin file?

  • Hi Nat,

    Thank you for your question and for including a scope shot in your post. Did you attach the bin file? I do not see it in this post. If you attach the bin files that you saved after creating your configuration that will help us to determine if your build was built correctly.

    Additionally, can you tell me which of the four files that were generated from the Config Tool, you used to flash onto the EVM?

    Regards,
    Karl

  • Dear Sirs

  • Hi Nat,

    Can you tell me a little more about your set-up?

    For the file you provided is that the image flashed onto the TPS65982-EVM board? If so can you tell me the source/sink capabilities of the NB that you have attached to the EVM? If  you do not know the source/sink capabilities of the NB you can use an Aardvark and our TPS65982 Host Interface Utilities Tool to determine them.

    Regards,
    Karl
