Hi Team,

Which do you recommend SN65LVPE512 or SN65LVPE502A/B for customer's new project?
It seems SN65LVPE512 is newer one.
Could you also tell me the difference between SN65LVPE512 and SN65LVPE502A/B?

    Hello Yaita-san,

       We recommend to use the SN65LVPE512 since it has all the SN65LVPE502A improvements plus:

    • Fixes LFPS compliance test failures when de-emphasis is added observed in LVPE502A.
    • De-emphasis and OS levels changed.

    Please let me know if the customer's implementation is Host side or device side, If the customer is willing to use the re-driver on a device implementation, then I recommend to use the SN65LVPE502B, and for movil applications the best options is the TUSB551 or the TUSB501.

    My customer's application is note PC(Host side).
    I understood SN65LVPE512 is recommended for dual channel requirement.
