Hello,

Our customer uses the HD3SS3412, has some questions.

a) Which do you recommend for VCC supply, DCDC or LDO?

b) This device has NC pin. May I connect NC pin to GND?

c) Is it available the EVM? The customer refer to board layout.

Hello,

a) We have used a LDO (TPS75933)
b) Do not connect to GND, please leave it NC.
c) We don't have EVM, but your customer should follow the general layout best practices for high speed.

It is unlucky you don't have EVM.
By the way, where did you use a LDO?
It seems too much current ability to drive the HD3SS3412.

We used the LDO in a test board for PCIe that uses the HD3SS3412.
