Hi,

is there any newer version of ds90lv804tsq ibis model ? The one I downloaded is version 3.2 of 2006 and I think has some problems with the characterization (look the attached pictures for rising and falling edge.

Hi Pietro,

You have the latest model. Have you been able to run any simple simulations looking at the differential output?

Hi Lee,

yes I'm able to run simulation: the point is the waveforms are really bad even just using a driver with a balanced load

Hi Pietro,
I looked through some similar designs. The DS15BR400 is a slightly newer IBIS model. This IBIS model has better control of the output edges. Please give this one a try. I will work to get the 804 model updated to better represent the actual device performance.

Hi Lee,
results look definitely better. The levels are a bit different but the signal is cleaner. It doesn't solve my issue but at least let me focus on the interconnections with a better model.

Definitely the ds90lv804tsq is bad.
