Looking for a back-plane Ethernet interface IC

Hi all,

We have a control board with one management controller and want to interface to an Ethernet switch on I/O module over a 1m back-plane.

- Management controller has SGMII interface (1000Base-X)

- The Ethernet switch on the I/O module has SGMII 1000Base-X interface also

The interface block diagram as in attachment

Does TI have any interface ICs that can handle this connection

Triet,

For SGMII there are several devices which can be used. Two that I often suggest are the DS25BR110 and the DS64BR111.

In the graphic there is a mention of link training. This is typically associated with Ethernet 10G-KR. For this standard I suggest using the DS125BR820 on the receive side of each link.
