Hi team,

About TUSB7340, if we need to measure the SI of USB2.0 on IBM’s OpenPower system (Linux), how could we do?

By our understand, we need to set the configuration of EEPROM the generate the pattern, right?

Hello,

The USB-IF provides the HSETT tool for USB2.0 electrical testing, with this tool you can send test patterns in order to measure the SI.

However, these tools are for windows only, I have asked to the USB-IF form a Linux tool.

Hello,

I've got confirmation from USB-IF that there is no Linux tool for this.

The USB-IF windows tool basically uses a customized USB driver to control the TUSB7340 and send specific USB packets.
The Linux USB driver for the TUSB7340 is managed by the Linux community so we don't have control over it.

Can your Customer load a windows system on their platform in order to use the USB-IF tool?
