Dear Sirs,

My customer asked me whether the supporting of the MHL of TPD13S523 possible.

His question is "common mode Impedance" of MHL Standard.

This specification is 30Ω.

Is it safe to connect this device (TPD13S523)?

The device is designed to connect to a system that has 100 ohms differential, or 25 ohms common mode impedance. The TPD13S523 IO pins add about 1 pF of capacitance to these lines. It will always lower the impedance in the area of the IO pins.

Can you tell me what data rate needs to be supported?
