TUSB7320 / Loop back function

Hi,

My customer plan to do USB3.0 compliance test, then I'd like to ask following two question.

  • Does TUSB7320 have loop back function through USB3.0 port1 to USB3.0 port2? 
  • Does TUSB7320 have the function to output compliance test pattern?

    Hello,

    The TUSB7320 has compliance mode. You only have to terminate the SS lines of one port with 50 Ohm loads, please notice that the target port has to be terminated before any SS or HS connection, the compliance pattern will change every few detections of a RX termination. If you want to restart the compliance mode, the you only have to restart the TUSB7320 and re-connect the 50 Ohm terminations.
