Acouding to the DS90UB926Q data sheet,

"The deserializer is intended for use with the DS90UB925Q-Q1 serializer,

but is also backward-compatible with DS90UR905Q or DS90UR907Q FPD-Link II serializer."

So, can we use DS90UR905Q and DS90UB926Q combination?

Hello Nao,

Yes, that is correct. These devices can be used together as the 926 is backwards compatible with the 905. Keep in mind that with this combination though, your PCLK frequency range will be reduced and will only support 15 - 65 MHz as listed in the datasheets.

I have one more question.

The data transfer format of DS90UR905Q is 28bits (C1, b[23:0], DCA, DCB and C0).

The data transfer format of DS90UB926Q is 35bits (C1, b[23:0], HS, VS, DE, PDB, I2S*3, SCL, SDA and C0).

Can DS90UB926Q be decoded 28bits data?
