I have an app with 1 source and 2 simultaneous sinks.

Each sink will have I2C components unrelated to the HDMI port.

Can I connect the source to the sources I2C port, then communicate with both sink ports using the TMDS442 I2C sink ports as pass through?

    Hi Steve,

    Are you trying to use TMDS442 as an I²C switch?

    Is this unrelated to HDMI?

    If that is the case, you can do it, you just need to apply assert 5V_PWR in source ports, and select desired source port using SA/SB and SP for sink port.

    However you cant have the same signal form source port in both sink ports, you have to choose one.
