Hi Team

Out TUSB6250 can work with Master HDD , But the Slave HDD can not work now , .Is it EEPROM or HW issue?

Hello,
We need more information, can you elaborate more on the failure mode, what do you mean by "can not work"? Is it not detected? is it yellow-banged?...
Please provide the schematic for review?
What is the operating system?
Does it happens on other systems?

Hi Elias

Our schmatic is same with TI TUSB6250 EVM , The system are Win 7 and Win XP.

I use TUSB6250 + Master HDD , The device manager will show USB Mass Storage Device , The Hdd can be work.

but

I use TUSB6250 + Slave HDD , The device manager will show Unknown Device , So I can not find HDD on My Computer.

Hello,
Is this a SATA drive?
There is no master or slave HDD on SATA, that’s only in PATA. For SATA systems, master / slave is all set in the BIOS, do you see the BIOS assigning Master/slave roles?

No , It is IDE driver , TUSB6250 is USB to IDE chip , We can not use slave mode HDD now.

Yes, that is expected. The TUSB5250 can support an IDE master or an IDE master and slave, but not a IDE slave only configuration.

2 HDDs attaching behind the TUSB6250. One HDD configure as mater HDD and the other configure as Slave. the Slave does not detected. No yellow bang in device manager but unknow device in slave HDD.
we learned TUSB6250 does not support slave only. is the scenario matching the description aboout "TUSB6250 does not support slave only". Can the TUSB6250 support the this kind of application?
