Hi, folks

Our customer wants around 30~40m of communication over UTP cable. The DS34RT5110 will be a candiate, but it is NRND.

The recommnended value ot DS16EV5110A is around 20m. Could you tell me know how to extend range to 40m by using DS16EV5110A?

To extend cable reach above 20 m and If HDMI full compliance is not required, the DS16EV5110 may be used in repeater type application as shown in Figure 6 of the data sheet. This enables cable reach above 20m.

In this case, to use of CAT6e or CAT7 will enables same performance against HDMI cables?

Please refer to the following app notes. This provides a good overview of multi-hop application using DS16EV5110. Also, it provides a good over view of EQ gain control vs frequency so this can be optimized for CAT6e and CAT7.
