TUSB8040A1 Eye Pattern

Hi Sirs,

Sorry to bother you.

We have use TUSB8040A1, have some issue at eye pattern test.

When we test eye diagram, TSSC-Freq-Dev-Min is fail, the TSSC-Freq-Dev-Max is Pass.

Did you know why and could you provide experience how to fix it? Thanks!

    Hello Shu-Cheng,

    This is the expected result. The TUSB8040A1 was designed to be compliant to the "wireless radio friendly" SSC specification that is outlined in ECN 15 of the USB 3.0 specification. This option was not formally included with the USB 3.1 specification. USB compliance logo can be obtained by submitting a waiver request since the TUSB8040A1 is compliant to an earlier valid SSC specification.
