Hi,

I'm not familiar with Ethernet. Now I need to send data with a speed of 1Gbps. So I think it must be Ethernet. I searched solution in TI website and found TLK1221 maybe the one for me. My question is where to get a reference design? My application can be point to point. Without 802.3 data link layer. Just send data and receive data.

Hi Jackie,

This device uses the IEEE 802.3 Gigabit Ethernet, so, if your application is not going to use the 802.3 data link layer, maybe you need a General Purpose transceiver. Could you provide more information about your application please?
