Our customer uses the SN65DSI83, using max resolution 1920x1200 at 24bpp.

How should he reduce blanking?

Hello,
The "reduced blanking" a special feature of the VESA specification is which the blanking periods are smaller and thus you can get more bandwidth.
I don't understand your question, can you elaborate more and describe Customer's implementation?

The customer wants to know the format 'Reduced Blanking'.

You can download the "CVT spreadsheet" from VESA and use that to calculate reduced blanking timing.
