Hi, TI. I have a question of Signal detect function, If the input signal was changed from signal A to Signal B( A and B are same rate and same phase but different movi, I guess the device will not into unlock state ), Does the "Signal detect function" can detect the change of the signal(The bit of SIG_DET cnaged as "1 -> 0 -> 1") ? or cannot detect the change(The bit of SIG_DET always "1") ?
When there is a change from signal A to signal B and there is no frequency or phase change or loss of signal then the device stays in lock. In this case, sig_det stays asserted(for example no loss of signal).
If there is no signal for a period greater than about 50ns then there is loss of signal(for example sig_det is low).
