I don' understand the following incoherence on page 11 of the specification :

5.1 Absolute Maximum Ratings

maximum Die Temperature 121.5 °C

and

5.3 Recommended Operating Conditions

for the extreme version : -10 +125°C

The die temperature (junction temperature) shall be higher than the maximum operating temperature ?

note : From DP83848-EP datasheet The Tj temperature Is 150°C max

Hi Stephane,

You are correct, the junction temp should be higher than the ambient operating temperature. Please give me a few days to verify that Tj for DP83848YB.

Maximum die temperature for the DP83848YB is 141.5 C. An update for the DP83848YB will be noted.
