As you suggest, I took those signal to be internal and so of little interest to a user.

What is "REFCLK & HS mode"?

Hello Jacky,

The blocks with red mark are internal signals.

REFCLK is an optional reference clock input pin.

If the Link is going to provide the reference clock (through pin #26, CLOCK) then REFCLK pin must be tied to GND. If a square-wave reference clock is provided to the REFCLK pin, then the CLOCK pin will be an output. Both modes are the INPUT and OUTPUT, respectively.
